Pomeranz promotes Dianetics at MIBF (Manila International Book Fair)

Pomeranz promotes Dianetics at MIBF (Manila International Book Fair)

MANILA, Philippines - David Pomeranz returns to the Philippines for the 32nd Manila International Book Fair (MIBF),ongoing until Sept. 18 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

On Sept. 18 at 3 to 5 p.m., Pomeranz is set to perform his hits and promote L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics, the landmark work that launched the worldwide movement for The Church of Scientology, of which Pomeranz is a member.

Pomeranz believes that the real barriers to a happy and valuable future are the upsets, failures, fears and mistakes of the past.

“These things hang around us like ghosts spoiling every chance to create a new and better life.” he says. “I had my own personal fears and internal barriers that blocked my way and threatened to destroy my chances to achieve my goals.”

Knowing and using Dianetics can help you break free of those barriers, Pomeranz notes, as Dianeticsdiscusses the different dynamics or areas of life that are essential for real success.

Dianetics enabled me to shake off the shadows of the past and see the life the way it really is. It gave me the power to deal with life in a positive and constructive way,” Pomeranz asserts. “I have a great career doing exactly what I want to do, a wonderful wife and family, and, I am proud to say, many friends that I’ve been able to help to lead happy and fulfilling lives.”

Dianetics is published by Bridge Publications and will be available at the MIBF.

Dianetics Video

Thanks to sites like Youtube anyone can watch this video about Dianetics.

The first time I read about the Reactive Mind it was an epiphany for me. Suddenly I could see where the odd ideas and unwanted emotions were coming from. It's tangible and capable of being addressed and handled now. Which is the great news for all of us.

Dianetics in the 21st Century

In June 2009, Mr. David Miscavige announced the single most momentous advance in Dianetics technology since the day of its original publication on May 9, 1950.

It was a project personally overseen by Mr. Miscavige for the better part of four years and culminating in the release of materials that would make Dianetics universally accessible.

The goal: to provide every group, Mission and Scientology Church with the ability to deliver Dianetics counseling as L. Ron Hubbard originally intended.

Central to the advance was an audiovisual release that propels the subject and study of Dianetics into the 21st century. Specifically, there are now 32 new films in 15 languages—a total of four and a half hours of visual instruction in the principles and procedures of Dianetics.

As Mr. Miscavige announced to an international audience of Scientologists, “These films are not about Dianetics. Rather, they are films of Dianetics.” To that end, benefiting from the advancements of this visual communications age and computer-generated special effects, the films provide an unprecedented level of comprehension to the viewer.

Like Book One itself (so named as it was the first major work on the subject), the films begin in simplicity and develop into broader application. To ensure full understanding, every facet of Dianetics counseling, called auditing, is described and depicted in several ways, then reintroduced again and again through subsequent films.

The DVD package consists of two discs: The first, How to Use Dianetics, comprises 14 chapters. It opens with the basics and, step by step, presents every concept needed to begin Dianetics therapy.

Once an individual is auditing, Disc Two, Aspects of Auditing, comes into play. Each of its 18 chapters (3 hours total) is a self-contained film expanding upon a single aspect of Dianetics and providing total comprehension relative to auditing.

This tour de force presentation delivers a mastery of Book One never before possible.

Answering the Demand for Dianetics Auditing

With L. Ron Hubbard’s landmark Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health now translated and available in 50 languages, and a new reader picking up a copy every 4.8 seconds, the demand for Dianetics auditing is unprecedented. To meet that demand, Mr. Miscavige announced a series of Book One services utilizing the new films. The first of these is the Hubbard Dianetics Seminar. Dianetics readers are invited by their nearest group, Mission or Church for a two-day Seminar wherein they view the How To Use Dianetics films and, within a matter of a few hours, begin auditing.

Thereafter, these beginning Dianeticists can follow the trail L. Ron Hubbard mapped in 1950 by continuing with the Hubbard Dianetics Co-audit.

As with the Seminar, the Co-audit allows participants to watch the films chapter by chapter as they audit one another on a turnabout basis. But unlike the Seminar, the Co-audit runs seven days a week, morning to night. Co-auditors may attend as much as they want and for as long as they wish, and thereby advance at their own pace toward the state of Clear.

Making Book One Professionals

The final component in this monumental Dianetics release centers on the training of professional Book One auditors. Once again, Mr. Miscavige’s research and verification uncovered technology unused for decades. Consequently, this Dianetics revolution includes the full recovery and restoration of L. Ron Hubbard lectures lost for 50 years: The Dianetics Professional Course Lectures.

The series is available for the first time ever and—coupled with Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health—provides the complete materials to train consummate professional auditors.

Mr. Hubbard himself described these lectures as the next Dianetics milestone. For they contain the anatomy and source of emotion, as well as the fundamental breakthrough of the components of understanding—the Affinity, Reality and Communication Triangle. In short, these milestone releases represent Dianetics for a new millennium and countless generations to come. Since release of the How to Use Dianetics films, Churches, Missions and groups around the world have regularly delivered Seminars and Co-audits, igniting a 21st century Book One wildfire.

DIANETICS: UNDERSTANDING THE MIND

The Dianetics symbol uses the Greek letter delta as its basic form. The green stripes stand for growth, the yellow stripes are for life.

The four green stripes represent the four subdivisions of Man's urge to survive which are delineated in Dianetics.

Dianetics: dia (Greek) through, nous (Greek) mind or soul.

To understand exactly how Scientology is used, something should be known of the track of research L. Ron Hubbard traveled and the antecedent of Scientology—Dianetics.

Dianetics is a methodology which can help alleviate unwanted sensations and emotions, irrational fears and psychosomatic illnesses (illnesses caused or aggravated by mental stress).

It is most accurately described as what the soul is doing to the body through the mind.

Prior to 1950, prevailing scientific thought had concluded Man’s mind to be his brain, i.e., a collection of cells and neurons and nothing more. Not only was it considered that Man’s ability could not be improved, but it also was believed that with the formation of his cerebral cortex, his personality was likewise irrevocably established. These theories were, however, inaccurate and as a consequence science has never evolved a workable theory of the mind nor a means to resolve problems of the mind.

L. Ron Hubbard changed all that with Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. Its publication in 1950 marks a watershed in the history of Man’s quest for a true understanding of himself.

Like Scientology, Dianetics rests on basic principles, easily learned, clearly demonstrated as true and every bit as valid today as when they were first released in 1950.

In this portion of the website, you will become familiar with the basic concepts of Dianetics and how it works, the goal of Dianetics, and an understanding of the state of “Clear.”

Church of Scientology of Malmo Introducing People to Dianetics

Staff and volunteers of the Church of Scientology of Malmö take to the streets to share the good news about Dianetics with their community

Malmö-Since its grand opening in April, staff and members of the Church of Scientology of Malmö have been introducing their neighbors in the greater Malmö area to Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health, and its potential for bringing about important reforms and improvements in the city.

First published in May 1950, this perennial bestseller has even more relevance today than it did 59 years ago. And nowhere more so than in the greater Malmö area.

The people of Malmö face enormous challenges. According to one recent article, unemployment in the Rosengaard district of the city is 70 percent, crime affects one of every three Malmö families each year and the number of rapes has tripled over the past 20 years.

The first step in changing any situation is understanding the underlying causes of the problem. In addition to revealing why people act the way they do and how to dramatically improve the quality of life on a one-on-one basis, Dianetics also “embraces the conditions and processes of leadership and intergroup relations,” explaining how groups, cultures and even nations become irrational. It goes on to state, “There is no national problem in the world today which cannot be resolved by reason alone.”

L. Ron Hubbard wrote Dianetics so that anyone could read it and easily learn techniques to help people overcome the most unwanted conditions in their lives. In addition to making this book broadly available, the Church of Scientology of Malmö offers Dianetics Seminars courses and profession training at its new headquarters at Sockerbruksgatan 2, Arlöv, 23 235 Malmö.

For more information, contact the Church of Scientology of Malmö or visit the Dianetics web site.
