Grief Counseling

I have met people who have held onto their grief when a loved one passes away.

A good friend of mine once told me she didn't want Dianetics auditing because she wanted to hold onto her grief.

I can only presume the reason she felt this way was to stay close to the person she just lost. And although it is true that when you are mourning for someone who has died that person does tend to persist in your thoughts on a fairly constant basis.

But what my friend didn't understand is that once you have erased the loss from the Reactive Mind, your memories of your loved one are absolutely still intact, and the spiritual bond you had with the person is absolutely still there. In fact it is stronger than it ever was before.
