In honor of the International Day of Peace, I post this section of the Dianetics web site, which quotes L. Ron Hubbard on the subject:

Can a nation obtain peace by waging war?

According to a recent Gallup poll, concerns about war is one of the most important problems in the world today.

When Dianetics was written in 1950, the world was still recovering from WW II and the Korean War was about to begin. Then, like now, the world was unstable. Then, as now, people were asking why can’t we live in harmony?

In his research, L. Ron Hubbard found that states and nations behave and react just as individuals do. The conflicts of society at large — and war itself — are ultimately the result of personal aberration. And ultimately, the way to solve the world’s problems is to bring harmony and happiness to the individual. If that were possible, one by one, we would make a better world.

And that’s what Dianetics is doing, and succeeding at, with every passing day. As L. Ron Hubbard explained in the final chapter of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health:

“Dianetics addresses war because there is in fact a race between the science of mind and the atom bomb. There may be no future generation to know which won.

Rationality alone can guide man past these threats to his extinction.”

Grief

Have you even seen the effects of the loss of a husband, wife, child or close friend on another. Have you noticed that their lives deteriorated -- that they never were quite the same -- that they couldn't seem to get over it....

Many people can spot that their lives started to deteriorate when they suffered a terrible loss.

Even if not a death - the loss of a job, of an opportunity -- for an athlete, the point when he suffered an injury that took him out of the game for good.

This is so much the case that there are whole philosophies based on fatalism - movies that promote that that's the way it is...

But with Dianetics auditing it does not have to be that way.

For someone who has lost someone very dear to them, Dianetics auditing will not bring that person back. Nothing will. But Dianetics technology can help the individual erase the pain and grief. And then what is left is the memories of a wonderful person, and all the great times you had with them, without the overwhelming loss.

Apathy

Have you ever met someone who was apathetic.

Or worse, have you ever felt that way yourself?

The definition of apathy in the Scientology glossary is:

"A complete withdrawal from person or people. There is no real attempt to contact oneself and no attempt to contact others. A very docile and obedient, if sick, state of not-beingness. It is near death or an imitation of death. For example, a person in apathy would say, 'What’s the use? All is lost.'"

I had a friend in college who was like that. No matter what the subject, she was certain that it wasn't worth trying -- she'd never make it, no one would listen to her, she wouldn't make friends there, she wouldn't be able to pass the course... and on and on.

She didn't have many friends, because no one could bear to be around her.

And everything she tried turned to ruin.

I was very frustrated at the time because I really liked her and I simply couldn't help her.

Ultimately, I gave up. And now I can't ever remember her name. But I certainly remember her.

Now, if I were to see her and she were still apathetic, I'd know that the best thing I could do would be to give her Self Analsysis auditing to help her raise her emotional tone level and then I'd follow it up with Dianetics auditing to get to the root of what caused her to utterly lose her self esteem.

It is actually remarkable what Scientology and Dianetics auditing can do.

Dianetics groups are springing up all over the place. I saw in the Sacramento Bee that there is a group in a little place called Elk Grove. Dianetics has been very popular ever since the book was written in 1950 and it just hasn't stopped being an extremely popular book. People usually get the book and then find a friend and counsel each other using it. I have personallyheard of amazing gains. The Dianetics website gives specifics.

Stress Takes its Toll

According to the Daily India The Centers for Disease Control estimates that 75-90% of all doctor visits are stress-related. It's important to find a healthy way to deal with stress.

Say, what? That's outrageous.

Billions of dollars get spent every year on medical bills and prescriptions just to handle these stress-related physical problems.

But stress is obviously a spiritual problem. It is how the being (the person himself) reacts to the difficulties he/she encouters in life.

According to the Dianetics and Scientology dictionary, Dianetics spiritual healing technology... addresses and handles the effects of the spirit on the body and can alleviate such things as unwanted sensations and emotions, accidents, injuries and psychosomatic illnesses (ones that are caused or aggravated by mental stress). Dianetics means “through the soul” (from Greek dia, through, and nous, soul). It is further defined as “what the soul is doing to the body.”

The results of Dianetics counseling are spectacular, and even more so when you realize that anyone who wants to benefit from it is welcome to come for a Dianetics seminar at a Scientology church or mission.

There's a book titled Dianetics 55! which is L. Ron Hubbard's basic discoveries on communication. He actually found a formula for communication. It's so brilliant. So effective.

It's skills that will help anyone who needs to be able to relate to people.

Dianetics Trademarks

I thought I'd include an article that explains more about Dianetics trademarks:

"The philosophy and technologies of Dianetics and Scientology were discovered and developed solely by L. Ron Hubbard. It is a fundamental belief of Scientologists that, if the technologies are applied exactly as he recorded them in Scientology scripture, they are universally workable and will improve conditions and result in greater spiritual awareness and ability for everyone.

"For this reason, Scientologists emphasize the orthodox and standard application of the Scientology scripture. Thus, Scientologists never interpret scripture for each other but always refer to the original source materials. A Course Supervisor in a Scientology church is not a teacher in that he does not lecture or give his own opinions because to do so, even if well-intentioned, would inevitably enter alterations, even if slight, into the technologies which would lessen their effectiveness. This alteration could accumulate over time to the point where Scientologists could never achieve the full spiritual benefits of the religion.

"For these reasons the Church and its members want, above all else, to preserve and apply the Scriptures exactly as set forth by Mr. Hubbard.

"Earlier, L. Ron Hubbard personally supervised the practice of the religion, and he also registered as marks many of the religion’s identifying words and symbols, such as “Dianetics” and “Scientology.” These registered marks provided a legal mechanism for ensuring that the Scientology religious technologies were orthodox and ministered according to the scriptures. They also provide a legal mechanism to prevent anyone from practicing in a non-orthodox manner or engaging in some distorted use of L. Ron Hubbard’s writings, while then claiming it is standard Dianetics or Scientology.

"In 1982, Mr. Hubbard donated these marks to the Religious Technology Center (RTC), and entrusted it with the responsibility to protect the religion by enforcing orthodox application of his Scientology technologies, and to protect the public by ensuring that only authorized church organizations used the identifying religious marks.

"Thus, while Church of Scientology International serves as the mother church and is responsible for the overall ecclesiastical management, dissemination and propagation of Scientology and the various churches of Scientology, Religious Technology Center serves as protector of the religion. While each Scientology organization and, indeed, every Scientologist is expected to enforce the standard application of scriptures, RTC is the final arbiter of orthodoxy.

"RTC is not part of the management structure of the Church and is not involved in its day-to-day affairs. A major reason for having the marks held by a separate Scientology organization is so that it is removed from the daily exigencies of management and so can more effectively perform its functions.

"RTC has an ongoing program to register its religious marks in many countries around the world -- even those that do not yet have a Scientology organization. Doing so ensures that the religious marks will not be usurped in those countries and that their citizens will know that they are receiving orthodox Dianetics and Scientology religious services when a Scientology organization is formed in their area.

"To ensure the purity of the religion and its Scriptures, RTC supervised a massive five-year project, only recently completed, to republish all of L. Ron Hubbard’s writings on Dianetics and Scientology. RTC ensured that the authenticity of each work was verified by comparing them word by word with his original manuscripts -- only once RTC was satisfied that the works were accurate were they republished. RTC then helped see that archival editions of these materials were produced, thus ensuring the availability of the pure unadulterated writings of Mr. Hubbard to the coming generations. As part of this project, Mr. Hubbard’s original tape-recorded lectures -- most of them over three decades old -- were restored using state-of-the art technology, and then accurately transcribed. Even the translations of the Scripture are scrupulously checked for accuracy by RTC prior to any publication.

"RTC has many other activities, all of which add up to performing its basic ecclesiastical functions: ensuring that what is represented as Dianetics or Scientology is genuinely so; protecting the general public by not allowing any organization or individual to do something entirely different while using the religious marks to misrepresent itself as Dianetics or Scientology; and not allowing any individual or organization to deliver Dianetics or Scientology while calling it something else. Any misuse or unauthorized use of the Scientology religious marks is rapidly corrected by RTC so that the religion is kept pure and all people may benefit from the application of Mr. Hubbard’s Scientology technologies.

"Mr. David Miscavige has served as RTC’s Chairman of the Board, its most senior position, since 1987. Mr. David Miscavige is uniquely qualified for this position. An active Scientologist for most of his life, he has been involved with nearly every aspect of the Church’s activities for many years and worked closely with Mr. Hubbard. Mr. David Miscavige has worked tirelessly to protect the religion. He authored the early 1980s reorganization of Church corporate and management structures which have given the religion years of sustained growth and stable leadership. "

Self Esteem.

In the course of living people make mistakes, do things they aren't proud of and often, somewhere along the line, stop feeling like they can fully trust themselves.

One of the most remarkable thing about Dianetics technology is now simple it is to get to the underlying cause of this change in self esteem and gain back personal trust.

Stress

According to a recent survey 43 percent of Americans say they suffer from the adverse affects of stress.

Dianetics Definitions

I recently re-read Dianetics: the Evolution of a Science, which L. Ron Hubbard wrote in 1950. It's a brilliant acount of an amazing journey of discovery. Mr. Hubbard describes in this book exactly how he discovered and codified the basic techniques of Dianetics, which he then presented in the book Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health.

The book contains a very extensive glossary of terms, necessary because what L. Ron Hubbard discovered about the mind is actually new and so required terms to name them.

There is also a good glossary of Scientology and Dianetics terms online.

For an interesting view of Dianetics, from the Indian perspective, there is a good site: Lifepositive Scientology and Dianetics.

And for an excellent overview on where the Scientology religion stands at the beginning of the 21st Century I recommend reading the transcript of the David Miscavige speech called This is Scientology or better yet purchasing a copy of the actual speech in DVD form online or at a Scientology church (really worth doing because Mr. Miscavige is such an excellent speaker).

Here's a story a friend of mine shared with me:

I first read the book Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health in 1970.

I was really unhappy at the time. I was in a bad relationship and my self-respect was at an all-time low.

A friend of mine gave me his copy of the Dianetics book and told me that this was exactly what I needed.

I hoped he was right.

I started reading and thought it was "interesting." Then at some point, a few chapters into the book it was like I was jolted awake! I got the concept of what L. Ron Hubbard was describing about the mind, and just knew it was true.

Suddenly, so much about my life made sense.

That was a turning point in my life. From that point on things got better and better for me, and I've never looked back.

Scientology Missions International web site had this story:

Executives of the Church of Scientology Mission in Modena, Italy recently started a game to get hundreds of Scientologists in their community trained up on the techniques to deliver Dianetics auditing to thousands of others in their community and thereby help them change their lives for the better by ridding themselves of their reactive mind.

Through a step-by-step plan of promoting in their city, holding seminars & workshops and airing TV shows on the miracles of Dianetics, the Modena Mission staff have already, in just a matter of months, trained over 225 people on how to deliver the techniques of Dianetics to others.

The reason I was delighted to read this is because Modena has to be one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. I fell in love with the city when I was last there. And I had the great good fortune of meeting some of the Scientologists from the Modena Mission. They were absolutely wonderful.

Sorry if I go on about them, but I will always remember their hospitality and warmth.

Dianetics Book Review

I thought this book review for Dianetics the Modern Science of Mental Health was worth passing on. It was written by someone named R. Lorenzen.

I loved "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health". It is very much a manual of the mind. Most other books on the subject that I've read are just theories and are not really workable. I have tried the techniques as descibed in this book and loved the results! I have worked these techniques on others (what an adventure!) and had them worked on me. Smiles, laughter and happiness all around.

I would highly recommend anyone to read this book whether you think you have problems or not. There are people around you who do and these CAN be handled with these Dianetics techniques. I know; I've seen it. Also, it tells you why people do the things they do -- you know... those odd and bizarre things that keep you wondering about someone.

My recommendation? Read it and try it out.

Life Positive of India Talks about Dianetics

This article describes the research L. Ron Hubbard did into Dianetics as follows: "The seeds of Dianetics were planted in the mind of its creator, explorer-thinker-author L. Ron Hubbard, by a series of cytological experiments he conducted in 1937. These experiments demonstrated that the urge to survive overrode every other possible life-enhancing drive, and was actually an inherited urge that remained potent even as a learned response.

"This apparently academic discovery put a whole new spin to the then current (and still fairly popular) theory that life is nothing more than a game of chance. Unlike Darwin's theory of evolution, which gave importance to survival only to the extent of natural selection, Hubbard postulated that the command to survive comes from an 'intelligence' behind the scheme of life. In his work Excalibur, often considered the precursor to Dianetics, Hubbard writes: 'All life is directed by one command and one command only—SURVIVE!'"

Dianetics Seminars in Java

Dianetics seminars are being delivered to people in Java to help them come to grips with what they experienced through the earthquake at the end of May.

It is pretty shocking when you realize that this was a 6.2 magnitude quake. A similar quake in Los Angeles resulted in practically no deaths compared to the nearly 6,000 deaths in this region of Indonesia. Sure, some houses were destroyed, but the destruction in Java is hard to conceive.

I was so happy to hear that the Scientology Volunteer Ministers that flew to Java to help are not getting Dianetics technology delivered in the form of seminars.

To live through such a catastrophe must be so devastating. Dianetics technology can really help.

The Dianetics Racing Team

There's a new web site on the Dianetics Racing Team that has news about the Dianetics NASCAR team.

In this item, it describes how the idea to have Bridge Publications (the publishers of Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health) sponsor this car.

Dianetics has supported many winning teams in a variety of competitive sports including running, surfing, bicycle racing, wind sailing, motorcycle racing, skateboarding, soccer and even hot air ballooning.

Kenton Gray, launched into racing at ten years old in go-karts (see fmgracing.com). After reading Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard in 1996, Kenton began his professional racing career. In 2000-2001, Kenton formed the Dianetics motorcycle racing team, placing in the top 5 for the year. In 2004, Kenton then moved up into driving at one of the best short tracks in the country, the Irwindale Speedway, racing in the Dodge Weekly Series. Coming in first place 5 times, and taking a top 5 ranking in other races, Kenton presented his program to Bridge Publications in January of 2006.

Jenna Elfman on Dianetics

In a recent interview on dvd.themanroom.com this is what Jenna Elfman had to say about Dianetics:

TMR: You’ve said before that Scientology has made your life better. How did you find the religion and why did you choose it?

JE: Oh yeah. I heard someone say how much they were able to help their mother by helping her with Dianetics, and I went “Really? You can help someone with Dianetics?” And that just interested me because I like helping people, and the person really felt good by helping their mother with some problems she was having. I was like, “I want to read that book.” I had said to my husband I want to learn about Dianetics, but I am not sure I want to read this whole book. I was nineteen years old and I don’t think at that age I had the patience to read the whole book. And Bodhi, who was my boyfriend at the time, said there was a Dianetics Seminar Course you can do where you read part of the book - the main part - and practice applying Dianetics. And I went, yes, I am totally into that. I went and did the course, and it was exactly what I had been looking for. I went and saw for myself that it worked and it totally made sense to me, and it answered all the questions I had through life. I was like “That makes sense!” I have been going strong and applying it to my life ever since and having a great time.

Trauma Relief

Dianetics technology is extremely effective in overcoming the effects of trauma. For this reason Scientology Volunteer Minister Disaster Relief Teams provide Dianetics auditing (counseling) when they go to help the victims of disasters.

It is very simple to learn how to give a Dianetics assist. Assists are techniques developed by L. Ron Hubbard that operate on the principle that one tends to withdraw mentally or spiritually from an injured area. Dianetic Auditors Needed for Disaster Relief

Scientology Volunteer Ministers Disaster Relief in Java
The first teams of Volunteer Ministers have arrived in Java to help in the aftermath of this week's earthquake, which left more than 5,000 dead and over 20,000 injured.

The driving rain is not only hampering the efforts of relief workers who are trying to provide essential services to the survivors, it is forcing some of the estimated 130,000 people who were left homeless by the disaster to return to their houses in search of shelter despite the threat of further building collapses.

Teams of Scientology Volunteer Ministers from Medan, Indonesia, and from the Church of Scientology of Perth have arrived in the disaster area. Another team is en route from the Church of Scientology of Sydney. Churches of Scientology in Milano, Tokyo, the United Kingdom and the USA are now forming up teams.

From my experience in other disasters, I'm sure Dianetics auditors will be needed as so many of the survivors will need Dianetics counseling to overcome the trauma.

After the tsunami, some Dianetics auditors traveled to Sri Lanka to deliver Dianetics workshops and Dianetics started making the rounds of the refugee camps. Fortunately it is so easy to learn that anyone can help.

Silent Birth: Uncovered Truth

There is a lot of buzz on the Internet, TV, Radio and newspapers today regarding silent birth. Most have questions and curiosity about anyone able to ‘remember’ their infancy. It stretches one’s reality and understanding of life and raises many questions. Just what is the truth?

In speaking with a young man, he happened to relate a story which bears consideration.

It turns out that the young man went into a local Scientology Church and decided to try Dianetics. In the process of the Dianetic auditing, it is apparently common practice to have the person move back in time in order to resolve certain spiritual conflicts. As the young man continued to move ‘back in time’, to earlier and earlier situations, in order to address a problem he continued to have in his present environment, he recounted his birth.

Apparently he was a cesarian birth -- that is his mother was cut open as she had already two c-sections done. At the time of his birth, this was an accepted norm. In the process of the birth, the young man recalled the fact that the smallest finger on his right hand had been cut by the Doctor’s scalpel. He remembered seeing the blade come close to his face and putting his hand up, while inside his mother’s womb. He also remembered that he was in pain and was upset, coming out crying while the doctor held him up by his arms. Of interesting and amusing note, the young man remembered how upset he was at the doctor and his only defense was to urinate on the doctor. The doctor apparently turned the baby away from him to avoid the cascade, however the young man remembered that he just twisted his little body in such a manner so as to continue to ‘let the doctor have it’.

At the end of the auditing session, and feeling quite relieved from recounting the birth incident. The young man was still not sure that this had actually happened, as he had never heard this story from his mother. He did, indeed, have a small scar on his little finger, which he had had his entire life. But the additional data regarding his urinary attack still made him wonder if this had really happened.

That following evening he received a call from his mother as they spoke weekly. In the process of the conversation the young man spoke of his birth and only reminded her of the small cut on his finger. His mother then commented that in addition to the cut, he really ‘peeed’ on the doctor. As they both shared the laugh, she then also recalled that even funnier was the fact that it seemed he was quite determined to continue ‘nailing’ the doctor. The young man asked her to clarify what she meant, as this was information he had never been told before. She then said that at the moment that he started to urinate on the doctor and ‘scream his little head off’, the doctor had immediately twisted his body away from his face; the son then seemed to twist his little body and continued to ‘nail’ the doctor. Her comment was that he seemed intent on doing this and it just seemed a bit odd as she felt he was doing it intentionally. But how could a little baby really do this?, she said. The young man said no more other than to acknowledge her statement and said, “I don’t know, I must have been really pissed!”

They both shared a good laugh, however the young man had his answers and realized that he did, in actual fact, recall the incident in it’s entirety. And since having that personal conviction on birth, he now is a real believer in silent birth.

Loss of prized pet handled with Dianetics

It is not unusual or uncommon for a pet to become a 'member of the family'. In many cases, such as dogs or cats, their lifespans range from 10 to even twenty years. So it is no wonder that when a pet dies, a tremendous loss is felt throughout the family, with depression occurring for days if not weeks.

Such was the case with a family and their beloved cat, 'Anthony'. He had been with the family for over 14 years. And at age 14, still considered himself a kitten. He had his own personality , and, as one member put it, "You knew when he was in the mood to be petted and definitely knew when not to bother him." They even said that there were instances where they even learned lessons from him, simply because he seemed to know when a family member was not doing well and stayed with each through their illness rather than going off to chase a bird or catch a mouse.

One night, Anthony when playing with the oldest son, shreiked, fell silent and died. It was no surprise that the entire familyexperienced a feeling of deep loss. Each had shared moments of joy with Anthony and all felt a gaping hole in their hearts.

The depression lasted for several days and began to deepen. The house grew somber with each passing day.

One of the family's neighbors saw the progressive depression and suggested to the parents their son, who was a Scientology Volunteer Minister, could probably help them through their loss. Their own family had had a similar situation and, suprising as it sounded, he had helped them through theirsl.

The parents agreed and the following day the Volunteer Minister arrived.

He listened to them and then suggested they be allowed to use a 'spiritual tool' he found quite helpful. Although it would not bring Anthony back, at least they could resolve their real loss.

The Volunteer Minister proceeded to explain to them what Dianetics technology is and how it works. He then, over the course of the next few days, delivered Dianetics auditing to each of the four family members. Each one in turn, discovered what was holding the feeling of loss in place for them and resolved their personal issues regarding it. These were all discovered and resolved without any advice or comment from the Volunteer Minister, as this is not how Dianetics Auditing works.

The family was able to resume their lives. It was not long after this that they went to a shelter for homeless animals and found another cat to fill the home, once again, with the happiness Anthone had given them. They knew that Anthony would never come back. Their memories of Anthony were no longer was connected with pain and loss. Rather, now they were left with all the happy memories .

Months later the family communicated how much they appreciated the help of their neighbor's son - the Volunteer Minister - and his Dianetics techniques. For them it gave them a fresh start in life and resolved their loss.

Woman Helped to Recover with Dianetics

An elderly woman had both knees replaced and was at home recuperating. She was still having tremendous problems walking and quite apprehensive about being able to walk comfortably again. She was also having difficulty healing and it seemed to her doctors that, due to her age, it was just going to be that way.

One of her next door neighbors had a son who was a Scientology Volunteer Minister. Having the idea that there might be some spiritual component in the length of time it was taking for her to recover, they told her they wanted to have their son come and see if he could help. They'd heard that Dianetics technology handles psychosomatic problems and were wondering if that might not be exactly what she needed.

The following day the Volunteer Minister arrived at her door. He introduced himself, in fact the neighbors were with him just to ensure that she would be comfortable with him. After a brief introduction, the Volunteer Minister applied a couple of assists, techniques developed by

L. Ron Hubbard that operate on the principle that one tends to withdraw mentally or spiritually from an injured area. Only by restoring communication with this area can one bring the spiritual element into healing, thereby greatly speeding the healing process.

The woman felt less pain in her legs, however she still felt apprehensive about walking.

The Volunteer Minister suggested Dianetics counseling. He briefly explained its procedure and
scheduled to come see her the following day.

He began delivering to her Dianetics auditing and did this over a few days, for about an hour and one half or so each day. In the process of the auditing the woman discovered for herself why she was so apprehensive and why the healing process had been taking longer than usual. She found great relief in receiving the auditing and her rehabilitation time actually was cut better than half, which surprised the doctors and physical therapist to no end!

The woman now walks every day -- at least a half mile every day -- in addition to her daily household routines.

At 80 years old, this is quite an accomplishment.

She attributes it all to Dianetics!

Volunteer Minister helps person walk with Dianetics

A Volunteer Minister was asked to help a man who had been bedridden for many months. Doctors were unable to find the cause of his inability to walk and were a bit mystified.

A family member had heard about Scientology Volunteer Ministers on television and that they used the technology of L. Ron Hubbard. He contacted the local church and asked for the help of a Volunteer Minister.

The minister arrived and after a short interview with the man in bed, decided to apply Dianetics technology to the situation.

After several hours of auditing, addressing the spiritual component to the difficulty, the man began having feeling in his legs and realized that he could walk. He was helped to the side of his bed and, on his own, stood up. Although very shaky at first, he was able to begin walking and is still doing so since the auditing he received.

The man attributes his ability to walk to his having come to see how he himself as a being had been holding the disability in place with Dianetics techniques. He is now reading the Dianetics book, written by L. Ron Hubbard.

Dianetics is described as what the soul is doing to the body through the mind.

Dianetics addresses the part of the mind that operates below the conscious level, exerting a hidden influence that causes the person to react irrationally, and have inexplicable emotions and ills that hold back intelligence and ability.

Rocky relationships handled with Dianetics

Relationships and the problems which arise from them at times plague all of us at one time or another.

Here's just one of many examples of how Dianetics techniques help people overcome past losses and clear the way to better relationships.

A young man was having continuous problems -- relationships with the kind of women he was attracted to never resulted in a lasting, stable relationship. No matter how he tried, he just was never able to break out of this pattern, which led to tremendous frustration and upset as the outcome was always the same.

A friend told him about Dianetics and then about the Reactive Mind. He gave him the book Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health. The young man read the book and then found that there was a 1-800 number in the back of the book. He called the number and found a church near where he lived and went to the church to get the auditing described in the book.

After a simple interview, he was introduced to someone who took him into session.

The young man had been dating a girl. Out of the blue, one of her old boyfriends had contacted her and said he wanted her back and she left the young man for the old boyfriend. The loss of the girl was addressed with Dianetics and the young man realized she this fit into the same category as the other relationships that had plagued him.

Within a few days, In the course of his auditing, he discovered why he had dated these women. This wasn't something the auditor told him - it was something he realized for himself.

A few days later he happened to be in a store when he saw a beautiful young woman. She was quite different from anyone he had ever met and he decided to take a chance and introduced himself. To his surprise, she was quite willing to talk with him. In fact, she agreed to meet him for coffee at the local cafe.

The two began dating and now are married. The young man credits what he handled in his Dianetics auditing with his being able to create this stable and fulfilling relationship.

Volunteer Ministers use basic Dianetics auditing techniques to relieve the anxieties that a people have from recent incidents containing injuries or trauma. Using simple one-on-one auditing techniques, relief from stress, depression, loss or any other affliction can be addressed with good result.

I found my wife with the help of Dianetics technology

I had been through many relationships and realized that I was not really happy.

A friend of mine told me about the book Dianetics and said I should read it. I bought the book and began reading it and found it made a lot of sense. I began to think that maybe there was something connected to my 'going in and out of relationships' with what the book called 'the Reactive mind'.

I contacted the local Scientology Church and found out that they provided auditing that the book talked about. It was actually quite inexpensive and so I decided to try it out.

I was met by a nice young man who called himself an 'auditor'. He sat me down and introduced me to what auditing was and then just started.

I met with him at the church and got audited every day for about an hour or so. By the end of the fourth day I was looking at a situation that I never knew had so much upset and loss. After going over it several times something even more basic came up and then my world just kind of lightened up. I realized what I had been doing and why relationships always never lasted. It wasn't anything the auditor said to me, it was my own realization.

A few days later I met this beautiful young woman, who just 'walked into my life'. It was as if she was made to order and it was incredible. We have two children now and it has been an incredibly good life. All thanks to Dianetics.

Dianetics Success

Here is a Success story that I really like from a lady who has improved her life through the application of Dianetics technology.

Since Dianetics, I never get depressed anymore.
“I've been depressed most of my life, not constantly, but up and down in depression. You wake up in the morning and you don't feel good. You don't like doing anything. I lost my allergies with Dianetics

I got the book, Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health and began reading it. It sounded pretty revolutionary to me and yet I was interested and wanted to try it out. I looked in the back of the book and discovered that there was a Church in my area and contacted them. The receptionist got me in touch with a consultant who signed me up for some auditing.

I started the auditing (Scientology spiritual counseling) and found it was a lot of fun. The person (auditor) who delivered this to me was very friendly and never told me what to think about anything I said, but just continued with the process listed in the book. While on the third session, we were looking at something that happened to me when I was about 10 years old. I experienced a lot of emotions, high and low. Finally at the end of the session I felt really good about what had happened and realized something changed. I didn't know what it was, but it changed.

I went on to my routine that day and that afternoon I went to a monthly meeting where the execs of that company smoked cigars. Every month they would do this at this meeting and I would get tremendous migraines. You see, I had always been told I had allergies to cigarettes and that the reactions to smoke was the allergy - that I would have this for the rest of my life.

I went through the entire meeting that day without a flinch or a thought about the lack of reaction to the smoke in the room. It wasn't until late that evening at home I was surfing the Internet that I began to smell the cigarette stench on my suit. I then realized that I did not react to the smoke - no headaches, nausea, heavy pains in my neck, etc. I recognized that earlier that morning I had had a Dianetics session and that what I had addressed in that session somehow resolved the condition that had been told to me by medical doctors would last my life. So because the real cause of these alergies were spiritual in nature, the technology of L. Ron Hubbard, in a short time had resolved this. It was incredible.

I have had no allergies to cigarette or cigar smoke since. I came to understand what the hidden enemy was - The Reactive Mind - and had gotten personal understanding of its existence.

Founder: Scientology was founded in 1952 by L. Ron Hubbard, an American science fiction writer and author of the best-selling book "Dianetics" (1950), which launched a popular self-enhancement movement out of which the Church of Scientology emerged.

Main Tenets: The name Scientology means "knowing how to know," and it maintains that it "constitutes man's first real application of scientific methodology to spiritual questions." When I was first introduced to Scientology it was through the book Dianetics the Modern Science of Mental Health which I've read many times since.

As workable as it was in 1950 when it was first published, it is that effective today. Of course L. Ron Hubbard did a great deal of research after than and in the late 1970's he developed what he called "Net Era Dianetics", but the original procedure outlined in what Scientologists often refer to as "Book 1" (in other words the first Dianetics book) still works.

What's great, though , is now there is a Dianetics hotline. If you start exchanging Dianetics auditing (counseling) with your husband or wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, neighbor etc. and you run into something you aren't sure about, you have help at the other end of a phone line. There is even an online feature at the Dianetics web site that allows you to log on and get the help you need.

I met someone from Pakistan who is using the online help line to set up the first Dianetics group in his area.

It's a great combination of a really workable mental and spiritual technology with 21st century high-speed communication lines.

Dianetics counseling has been around for a number of years. There are many people that have been applying these techniques for 30 years or more.

These are caring people who have been helping others for a long time and using Dianetics procedures have been able to genuinely help people.

Here are some facts on Bulgaria:

The Bulgars, a Central Asian Turkic tribe, merged with the local Slavic inhabitants in the late 7th century to form the first Bulgarian state. In succeeding centuries, Bulgaria struggled with the Byzantine Empire to assert its place in the Balkans, but by the end of the 14th century the country was overrun by the Ottoman Turks. Northern Bulgaria attained autonomy in 1878 and all of Bulgaria became independent in 1908. Having fought on the losing side in both World Wars, Bulgaria fell within the Soviet sphere of influence and became a People's Republic in 1946. Italy became a nation-state in 1861 when the city-states of the peninsula, along with Sardinia and Sicily, were united under King Victor EMMANUEL II. An era of parliamentary government came to a close in the early 1920s when Benito MUSSOLINI established a Fascist dictatorship. Here's some information about the country of Georgia:
Georgia was absorbed into the Russian Empire in the 19th century. Independent for three years (1918-1921) following the Russian revolution, it was forcibly incorporated into the USSR until the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991. Ethnic separation in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, poor governance, and Russian military bases deny the government effective control over the entirety of the state's internationally recognized territory. Despite myriad problems, some progress on market reforms and democratization has been made. An attempt by the government to manipulate legislative elections in November 2003 touched off widespread protests that led to the resignation of Eduard SHEVARDNADZE, president since 1995. New elections in early 2004 swept Mikheil SAAKASHVILI into power along with his National Movement Party.

Dianetics at AOSH EU (AOSHEU)

Did you know that Dianetics has been translated into over 50 different languages?

This is particularly important in Europe where over than 40 different languages are spoken.

AOSH EU (The Church of Scientology Advanced Organization and Saint Hill of Europe) is a very special Scientology church. Not only does it minister the advanced spiritual counseling in their Advanced organization, and the Saint Hill Special Briefing Course (advanced counselor training for Scientology ministers) but they have staff from all over Europe, many of whom speak several different languages.

AOSHEU is also a very beatiful church, in the heart of Copenhagen. The architecture and decor are uniquely Skandinavian. It is an active, warm, exciting place where something is always happening.

Scientology courses differ from courses taught elsewhere in that you don't have to wait for the semester to start to enroll and begin your training. You can walk into a Scientology course and start a course any day - that is literally 365 days a year at any Scientology church in the world.

Since people start courses every day, of course they complete them throughout the year too.

So we have graduation ceremonies at our Scientology churches every week.

The AOSH EU graduation is held on Friday nights. It is a lively affair. Usually starts off with some kind of entertainment. Those who have completed Scientology training or spiritual counseling services for the week are invited onto the stage to receive their certificates and share their wins with the rest of the church members.

The last time I attended a graduation at AOSHEU I was impressed by the incredible diversity of the evening. There were parishioners from Italy, Russia, Spain, France, Sweden and of course Denmark who came up to share what they had gained from the services they had just completed.

There was an AOSH EU staff member standing by to translate into English - the language spoken in common by most of those present. She was an AOSH EU executive staff member who does simultaneous translation on the side!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this unique Scientology church.

I have been asked on numerous occasions what the difference is between the Scientology religion and the Dianetics technology.

Here's the best way I know to describe the difference:

• Dianetic techniques address what the spirit is doing to the body. It deals with such things as pains, emotional problems such as antagonism, grief, feeling stressed-out, anxious, depressed. It can handle the feeling of loss one experiences at the death of a loved on or the end of a relationship. That is why Dianetics is so perfectly suited to trauma relief, especially since it is very easy to learn the simplest Dianetics techniques. In fact it is common for people to simply read the Dianetics book and then find a partner to work with. Scientology churches, missions and groups offer Dianetics workshops
• Scientology, on the other hand, deals with the being - the person himself or herself - helping the individual increase ability and intelligence and

Catherine Bell is one of my favorite performers, and she's also an outspoken human rights advocate and Scientologist.

She recently went to Washington to lobby for real reform programs to reduce recidivism in our prisons. The program she endorses is called "Criminon" and here is an interesting story on what this program does:

In celebration of the 54th annivesary of the publication of Dianetics the Modern Science of Mental Health a new web site was launched where people can take an Emotional Tone Stress Testdetermine what their emotional tone is.
The subject of emotion is studied and greatly clarified in Dianetics. The book, Science of Survival, the next book Mr. Hubbard wrote after Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, goes in great detail into emotions, what causes them, how they are affected by communication, how a person can raise himself and others in emotional tone, and the way you can predict a whole host of different behaviors based on a person's emotional level.

Australia was one of the first places where Dianetics was practiced, after the release of the book Dianetics, the Modern Science of Mental Health.

I always get a kick out of finding Dianetics groups operating in far-off places (far-off to me, being in the USA).
